Hi Everyone,

I know this group is fairly dormant but Chris Wheeler who was a legendary
game designer in the 90's before becoming a professional screenwriter has
passed away.

The details for his funeral are below.

Feel free to pass any of these details on through the gaming community as I
have lost touch with most of the old time gamers

Regards
Eden

* The funeral is confirmed for Thursday 6 August, 2009 at 1:30p.m., to
be held in the Camellia Chapel of Macquarie Park Crematorium, corner
Delhi and Plassey Roads, North Ryde.

* There will be a wake at Macquarie Park directly after the funeral,
and we will organise a separate gathering following the formal one.
Details to be confirmed.

* In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Médecins Sans
Frontières/Doctors without Borders

* Funeral notice will be in Monday's SMH.

* Reminder about Saturday arvo get together, Saturday 1st August, 4PM,
at The Rose Hotel in Chippendale. We should be there for a while.

Thank you very much for passing on these details. It's sad to lose
someone so talented, but I'm glad he got to share his work with us and
give RPGs more fun.
